This is the Terrestrial Globe from the Ambassadors Adaptation set upclose, whilst making this prop it was clear that the globe had to be painted to look like the Terrestial globe in the painting, so I only had to concentrate on the front design. This was inportant to making the final set as the important part of this project was the culminated set at the end. Studying the processes of many movies, it was clear that a technique of only concetrating on what can be seen rather than the entire prop is something that is regularly done to cut down on time and money. The Terrestial Globe is made out of an old globe ment for young children and the handle of the globe was turned on a Laive out of wooden dowling then button polish was used give it a final finish.
