Siege of Rochester Castle 800th Year Anniversary

To date this is the current status of the Rochester Castle model, as seen in this image most of the front of the castle has been covered in bricks. These bricks were hand carved using chevant clay and the moulded with silicon rubber and finally the brick sheets were then casted out of fast cast. This process is very lengthy, each sheet of bricks has a 20 minute curring time, then to get the bricks to fit to all the shapes of the windows, this can take anything from 15 mintutes to half an hour depending on how complicated the section is. As of last week the most complicated part of the castle has been completed so as of next week the rest of the castle should be finish and painting can begin.
